As they got closer they began to take fire, and reported. Companies who withdrew. APCs. B Coy, moving on foot, were also. D Coy and the Commanding Officer (CO) of 6 RAR. Lt Colonel (Lt. Col) Townsend aboard another APC joined A Coy as the. D Coy. As the. last of the massive enemy assaults faded, B Coy arrived in Delta's. It was. just on dark.
